The Florida and Michigan mess
it appears some progress is being made to resolve the Democrats problem of seating the delegations from Florida and Michigan. Michigan officials have apparently agreed to conduct a new primary -- state-run but party financed. However, the issue of using mail-in ballots is not yet off the table, and that could be a stumbling block in getting the Obama campaign to sign on.
In Florida, the mail-in option seems to be the favoite choice of a new vote -- again with the same problem with the Obama camp.
It's anticipated the new votes will most likely be held in June, after the current schedule is over.

Both Florida and Michigan have counties that require DOJ voting rights section approval -- which includes a 60-day waiting period. Add in the month of public comment being held by the state parties, and there is zero chance this could happen by June 10th, the last date for selecting delegates.
The only election type that would not need DOJ review would be a primary of the exact styles held in January. Mail-in ballots and caucuses are simply off the table.
That’s horse pucky. Florida and Michigan already had a primary and it should stand.
Clinton should sue to stop any sort of illegal re-vote. Those delegates are hers. She already won fair and square. Don’t blame the Clintons because the other candidates foolishly passed on the primary. That’s their own fault. They should have known better to think that all those millions of Democrats could be disenfranchised because of some rule that Howie Dean came up with. He ain't no King. Who is he to say what the rules in any state should be?

You can't redo an election just because you don't like the outcome. That’s what you liberals said in 1994 and I can't see why standards should change just because your preferred candidate didn't win.
Your candidate doesn’t need them anyway. You have already won but those Clinton delegates should be seated at the convention.
