U.S. Sen. and Democratic presidential candidate Chris Dodd met with the Hartford Courant Editorial Board to discuss his presidential campaign. CT-N will broadcast the meeting Saturday at 7:30 p.m. - or there abouts. Time is approximate and the Dodd segment will follow CT-N's weekly program Capitol Report.

Dodd is running for President? I hadn't noticed.
Why is Chris Dodd qualified, or think he is, to be President?
NOT intended to be querulous or argumentative--just looking for insight.
He must think he's bringing something 'extra' to the discussion, or why else run?
But, quite frankly, he seems (for the most part) to be in the center of a large gaggle of folks who hold practically identical positions on issues like health care, intervention in Iraq, controlling the size of Federal budget, etc.
The last time he had an original idea, it died of loneliness (perhaps too unkind?).
Yes, we have a long way to next year's elections, but, no, I honestly don't see Chris Dodd as making the cut for his party's nomination.
